ASIC/1-8255 Fan Coil Controller

The ASIC/1-8255 is a pre-programmed DDC controller for use in the control of fan coil units. This controller maintains the space temperature by varying the temperature of the delivered air. The controller has personalities for two pipe and four pipe units, auxiliary electric heat, two pipe and four pipe with bypass damper control, and Outdoor Air Economizer operation.

Discharge Air Temperature Low Limit control is an optional feature that prevents the discharge of excessively cold air to the space. Additionally, the controllers include after-hours override, user temperature adjustment, interface to occupancy sensor, and lighting control features.

The controller can operate standalone or as part of a controller network. A pre-tuned PI algorithm is included for accurate maintenance of space temperatures. The ASIC/1-8255 can be ordered with an optional metal top cover.
