WS-MOD Modbus Digital Wall Sensor

The WS-MOD Digital Display zone temperature sensor connects to a ASIC/2-7540 or -8540 configurable controller. The WS-MOD has an identical form and color to the WS-051 digital display wall sensor. The WS-051 is compatible with ASIC/1 pre-programmed controllers, providing a consistent look for systems using sensors connected to both ASIC/1 pre-programmed and ASIC/2 configurable controllers. LCD display panel enables reading of ambient zone temperature and changing setpoints. Pushbuttons enable editing of setpoints and modes, and user initiation of afterhours overrides.

The wall mounted sensor utilizes a precision thermistor to measure and display the zone temperature. The thermistor's high change of resistance creates a large signal that reduces or eliminates lead wire resistance problems. The information from the WS-MOD is sent to the ASIC/2 controller using the Modbus RTU protocol.
