Use WebLink to remotely access a building control system from your web browser and view live data. You can upload new configuration data to change system behavior. WebLink can display controller-level trend data graphically, or store trend data locally on the hard disk for greater capacity. Historical trending can be activated for any point or points on the system. Data is archived to disk either on a set schedule or on change of value. Both device-level and historical trends can be added to any web view. Users with appropriate priveleges can create and view custom graphs dynamically.
Login is secured by 160-bit SHA-1 encoding, to help you protect against unauthorized access.
Data points can be made visible or editable, according to security level. For example, you can selectively enable setpoint adjustments and overrides to building maintenance personnel, create a summary view screen showing energy consumption for the building owner, and display read-only screens for building tenants to show which of their systems are in operation. Any data element on a view screen can be further manipulated via custom scripting for added flexibility and control.
Tool bars, menus, logo graphics, backgrounds, animations, narration, movies and individual graphics can be added to any custom user view screen with support for most common web graphic formats. Present real time views with color coded animation for valve operation, proof of fan, damper position, temperature alarms and other data. Deliver your own step-by-step instructional videos to onsite building maintenance personnel to familiarize them with control of the HVAC system.
Access to the library of animated three dimensional HVAC images is included with every WebLink license. Users find the animated graphics visually intuitive, enabling them to quickly understand system status and troubleshoot issues. VARs can create a compelling case for the performance of a control system, and the professionalism of installation and setup, with top-quality graphics for the system front end. Click on the image to the right to see a full-size sample screen using images from the library.
WebLink is an OPC client and can connect to devices and networks made by other manufacturers through OPC Server-to-Server data binding. The number of control manufacturers who provide support for OPC and providers of OPC Servers is expanding rapidly in order to meet increased demand for intelligent building, facility automation, energy management and other requirements best met by interoperable systems. WebLink can also read data from Enterprise data sources via ODBC, extending the integration possibilities of ASI Controls systems.
WebLink supports access by multiple users over LAN, WAN, or Internet. WebLink interacts with all ASI devices on the network, both current and legacy, through ASI OPC Server. It offers truly thin thin-client connectivity using DHTML and Javascript technologies.
WebLink integrates with ASI Monitor to enable automated alarm and event notification, with forwarding to numeric pager, email, fax and cell phone. The built-in Web Server converts the web views to HTML/JavaScript modules and handles XML data updates.
