The EtherLink/2 features an RJ-45 network connection, and a 9-pin serial connection capable of using either the RS-232 standard or the RS-485 standard.Power is supplied by a 120 VAC transformer plug.
Application Overview
Ethernet-to-serial router, supporting either RS-232 or RS-485 serial connectivity. Intelligently forwards alarms & events from the control system to the front end, avoiding the need for the front end to poll for alarms and events. The EtherLink/2 also provides timekeeping & synchronization functions using SNTP protocol, and has a built-in web server for easy configuration.Firmware History
