The current generation of controllers offered by ASI Controls are all flash upgradable. This includes the ASIC/2-7540, the ASIC/2-8540, the ASIC/1-8655, the ASIC/1-6000 and the ASIC/1-8800.
All previous generations of ASI Controls hardware, including the ASIC/2-7040, the ASIC/2-8040, the SINC/3-3000, the ASIC/1-8755, the ASIC/1-8355, the ASIC/1-8255 and the ASIC/1-8055 have their firmware contained in a chip. This chip is removable, as it is not soldered to the board. If you have a previous generation controller that could benefit from a firmware upgrade, contact ASI Controls about pricing and availability.
Master List of Firmware. This is a master list of all firmware versions, both chip-oriented and downloadable versions.
The FlashDEV software is use for field upgrades to the firmware of a controller.
Unzip the contents of the zip file into C:\ASI\FlashDEV. This zip file contains the ASI In-field Flash Programmer software, and the latest versions of firmware for the ASIC/2 and ASIC/1 family of controllers.
